National Capacity Building Center on Safe and Supportive Housing for Domestic Violence Survivors
Through decades of leadership, NRCDV understands that safety requires dignified and stable housing. For this reason, NRCDV operates another resource center – the National Capacity Building Center on Safe and Supportive Housing for Domestic Violence Survivors (the Center).
Our primary purpose at the Center is to improve responses to domestic violence survivors and their families across public and private homeless services and housing.
Through this initiative, we convene two teams of federal and national technical assistance partners, collectively called the Safe Housing Partnerships Technical Assistance Consortium. Through training materials, toolkits, and resources, we improve policies, identify promising practices, and strengthen collaborations necessary to improve housing options for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
The goal? Enhanced safety, stability, and wellbeing.
