4th Annual Hope Walk Against Domestic Violence

Charleston's 4th Annual Hope Walk/Run against Domestic Violencewill be helpd on September 21st from 8:00am-11:00am. The route will begin on the Charleston side of the Ravenel Bridge and end on the Mt. Pleasant side of the bridge.

“Walk a Mile In Their Shoes” 5K/1 Mile Combats Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse

Only 5% of domestic violence instances or encounters are reported. Alma G. Davis knew there had to be a better way to reach out to those affected. As a survivor of domestic abuse herself, Davis started a foundation to educate communities and advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. The Alma G. Davis Foundation is hosting its 5th Annual “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” – a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk – on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8am.

Freedom to Soar! Rising Above Domestic Violence 5K/10K race

October is the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Let's make a difference in the life of people who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse by participating in this fundraising event hosted by Salvation’s Gate, Inc. a charitable nonprofit organization. All proceeds go to Salvation’s Gate Inc. to help fund our work with domestic violence victims and their families.

Join us for Family Centered Services of Connecticut's 8th Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence as we Shine a Light on Domestic Violence. This year we will walk through East Rock in New Haven, CT, followed by your chance to win some incredible raffle prizes.  Make sure to bring your whole family to show your support as we speak out against domestic violence while enjoying lunch and Ashley's Ice Cream after the walk! 

"Walk In Her Shoes"

At the "Walk in Her Shoes" event, men, women, and children walk in women's shoes to show solidarity against domestic violence while raising money for an Horry County Emergency Shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Come out and walk with local, state and federal elected officials, celebrities and law enforcement.

Strides4Strength - A Walk to End Domestic Violence

Join us for the 3rd Annual Strides4Strength: A Walk to End Domestic Violence on Sunday, June 10th. The registration table opens at 9AM and the walk begins at 10AM. All proceeds support the YWCA Union County Domestic Violence Programs. *Free for kids under 12 & furry friends. Every step raises awareness!

Randi's Race: A 5k Run/Walk for Hope and Courage

Join us for the 14th annual Randi's Race! This event is in memory of Randi Trimble, who was murdered in her East Pennsboro Township home on January 10, 2003 by a killer who was hired by her husband. Registration will start at 8:00 a.m. and the race will kick off at 9:00 a.m. This event is family friendly and will have a kids' race, crafts and plenty of fun!
