For Our Daughters: Breaking The Cycle of Domestic Violence Through The Arts

For Our Daughters is an annual signature benefit concert in October featuring local artists coming together to be inspired and break the cycle of domestic and teen dating violence through creativity and positivity. My name is Chi ("like the tea") Mathias Reed, and I use my voice to inspire, empower, and transform lives, as a Visionary, Spokeswoman & 2x Champion Overcomer of domestic violence.

Once in my childhood, my mother was murdered by her husband and I was stabbed 13x and left for dead. Then, as statistics would predict, in my 20's I was abused by my then husband and father of my daughters. I invite you to help us break the cycle of domestic violence by attending the 4th annual For Our Daughters benefit concert. I know first hand how powerful music is and it's liberating effect on the soul and spirit. So please join me and a host of creative artists and cycle breakers on Sunday, October 23rd. To join the movement, please visit #FOD2016
