Walk with your Best Friend for Domestic Violence Awareness

Domestic Violence affects the entire family - even the family pet. To raise awareness of the correlation and prevalence of animal abuse in violent homes, Bolton Refuge House is inviting the public to bring their dog and walk with their best friend for domestic violence awareness.
Registration is just $5 per dog (must have proof of current vaccinations). Each dog will get a cool bandana to sport during the walk and participants will receive a ticket for door prizes. Signs will be displayed throughout the trail, providing statistics and information pertaining to DV and animal abuse. Starting at 10am, the local 4H Dog Project will start their dog agility course demonstrations, followed by demonstrations from the local Law Enforcement K-9 units. Basic dog obedience training will also be available. At noon, chili and fry bread will be served for a free-will donation!
Door prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.
